Throughout our 70 year history we've worked for the economic betterment of the community. Take the 1950's, when we helped facilitate the sale of a building on Columbian Avenue to a company who then became a major employer: General Electric. Or how, throughout the 1960's and 1970's, we worked to bring businesses to the Otter Creek Industrial Park - providing jobs for area residents. And, in the 1980's and 1990's, how we broadened our focus, once strictly industrial, to also include retail, tourism and service businesses. With each changing era, we've changed to meet the needs of the area, its communities and businesses.
Now, that we are in the 21st century, we are using technology to benefit our region - working to communicate and compete on a national and global level. By forging a partnership with area education, we will ensure our workforce is up to the challenge of the new economic era.
